i'm published!
CONGRATULATIONS
We’ve got more splendid news from our magazine writing readers.
Mikki: I have a story, "The Storm," that has been accepted for
publication in the September 2008 issue of Stories for Children.
I have a non-fiction article at Dig, and another at ODYSSEY, and
a short story at Spider. I am waiting on all of them to find out
if they will be published or not. Please keep all fingers and toes
crossed!
Maude Stephany: BC Parent Magazine AND Valley Parent
Magazine have recently published one of my non-fiction articles
about Hiking. I have also written an article under the title “Who's the
Boss” and another under the title “Preserving Family” (about preserving
food and family traditions) which will be in the autumn issue of BC
Parent. I'm working as a writer for a
new online
parenting magazine KnackParenting.com - I'm mostly doing food
related articles.
Dave Feeley: A quick note to share the good news that my first
article is being published in DIG Magazine's July-August 2008 issue
under the title of "What's for Dinner?" It discusses what the findings
from artifacts reveal about pirate food and how it was both stored and
prepared aboard ship. My thanks to all who helped me so much.
Peg : I'm a graduate from ICL's basic and advanced children's
writing courses. I want to share my most recent success. My story,
ZELDA'S SPECIAL, will appear in the September 2008 issue of Stories
for Children.
Donna Marie West: Just wanted to tell you my non-fiction story,
"Drawings on the Earth," has just been accepted by Stories for
Children and will appear in the October 2008 issue.
Christine Collier: I sold two writing articles recently. "The Eyes of a
Writer," to an online newsletter,
Funds for
Writers. It was posted recently. Also, "Anthologies-Life Stories
That Sell,"to the print publication,
Freelance
Writer's Report, to be published at a future date.
To make room for the new columns coming in the October issue, this will
be the last installment of I'm Published.
